Russell Forgham is the representative for all the rural parish councils in Milton Keynes on a new Stakeholder Group which is helping Milton Keynes Council to reshape the future of bus services in the area in response to the Government’s National Bus Strategy. The group represents bus users, residents, businesses and other parts of the transport network.
It would be very useful for him to know what people think is needed to improve services, what people actually need to encourage them to use buses rather than cars, and any ideas that they think could help.
It would also be good to know what you think of the current bus services in Milton Keynes and what is good and bad about them but please don’t shout at me because I’m not responsible for them!
He wants to know what people who live in the villages around Milton Keynes actually want with their bus service, rather than what MKC thinks they want, and the more people who comment, the better it will be for everyone.
So let him know what YOU think is needed by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org. The more people who do this means that a lot more ideas could be considered and this will obviously help the group, Milton Keynes Council and the bus operators make the bus network in Milton Keynes the best they possibly can.
Vice-Chair, Castlethorpe Parish Council
