VACANCY FOR PARISH CLERK
40 hours per month
We are seeking a part-time Parish Clerk to support the important work of our friendly team of Parish Councillors. The Parish Clerk’s key duties include:
- Ensuring the instructions and statutory duties of the Parish Council are carried out
- Preparing Agendas and Minutes for monthly Parish Council meetings
- Act as the Responsible Financial Officer, maintaining all financial records and careful administration of the Parish Council’s finances
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Parish Clerk but we will consider capable and enthusiastic candidates with suitable transferable skills. It is not necessary to live in the Parish of Haversham cum Little Linford.
The role has a time allocation of 40 hours per calendar month and salary will be in line with the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
